Rabbi Bowman to Visit Shoals regarding Israel

Rabbi Shmuel Bowman, Executive Director of Operation LifeShield, from Efrat, Israel, will speak in the Shoals on Monday evening, July 30th at 7:00 pm in the Gold Record Room at SunTrust Bank in downtown Florence. An Orthodox Jewish Priest and a Torah Scribe, Rabbi Bowman is regarded as an expert in the field of passive defense and humanitarian relief. In addition to providing insight on current events in Israel and a security briefing regarding his nation’s defense, the Rabbi will share stories of Israel’s unsung heroes. Operation LifeShield is a non-profit organization providing bomb shelters for the people of Israel. Rabbi Bowman has partnered locally with Jim and Anne Bevis of CSR Ministries to build a bomb shelter as a legacy gift from North Alabama and the Tennessee Valley. The evening program is free, and the public is invited to attend. However, space is limited.
