Memorial for Don E. Soula
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that Don E. Soula was pronounced dead this afternoon at approximately 1:30pm. He is now in the presence of the Lord.
Don E. Soula was the son of long-time friend and CSR Board Chairman Don Soula and his wife, Madeline. Don E. was a former member of the CSR board and had just received his Ph.D from Dallas Theological Seminary, where he served as an Adjunct Professor.
Don E. and his wife, Tiffany, have no children, but have discipled, mentored and taught many. He leaves behind an amazing legacy from his 50 years of life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Family and close friends are now gathering at the home in Frisco (Dallas), TX. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made – but we will post those here as soon as possible.
Our hearts and prayers go out to the entire Soula family, and to all who knew and loved Don E.
UPDATE 2/1/16:
Don E. Soula's Memorial Service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 2nd at 10:30 a.m. at Preston Ridge Baptist Church in Frisco, Texas.
From Anne Bevis:
Jim and I are asking you to join us in praying for this dear Family. Don was ready to meet The LORD, and we will See him again, but the "now" is his absence, and it hurts. I only wish you could have known Him in His 6'7" frame that was full of genius, humor, an outstanding teacher/preacher of the Word of God. Little children loved him. He celebrated life and has left an incredible legacy of LOVING GOD AND LOVING OTHERS.
When you get a moment, go to isoula.com and check out this extraordinarily gifted Messenger of God. You will be blessed and inspired.
